PWQA legislative days are your opportunity to meet your legislators in the company of fellow PWQA members and our lobbyists. We introduce ourselves as experts in the Water Improvement Industry. We explain who we are, and leave each representative with a parcel of literature about PWQA so that if or when anything affecting our industry comes across their desk they have us to call for further explanation of the effects their decisions will have on the Water Improvement Industry. The purpose of this annual event is to build strength and make PWQA and its members a trusted reliable source of information. With term limits we find ourselves continually introducing ourselves anew because they are new legislators in office. Each year, we must educate our elected officials about our industry. By attending Legislative Days you will build on our past experience and become more confident in the message we are committed to make. PWQA will provide training including history of past legislation so that you are prepared to introduce yourself as an expert in the Water Improvement Industry.
PWQA has arranged for a meeting room at the Hyatt across from the capitol as a meeting place for our group.
