Pentair is pleased to announce that AQ Matic Valve and Controls Company, Inc. (“AQ Matic”) has signed an agreement to purchase the AquaMatic Valves and Controls product line from Pentair Water Purification. The transaction is anticipated to close on June 1, 2016.
AQ Matic is a newly created company by Walter Senney, president and owner of Met-Chem Group, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. AQ Matic was established to manufacture, sell and service the AquaMatic Valves and Controls product line.
Production will resume once the AquaMatic manufacturing equipment is installed in AQ Matic’s new Milwaukee facility. Pentair anticipates this move will be completed no later than June 30,
2016 and production will likely resume on July 1, 2016. Contact information for this new facility will be sent directly to customers at a later date.
All AquaMatic products listed in the discontinuation notice will be available to order through AQ Matic Valve and Controls Company, Inc. beginning June 1, 2016. AQ Matic is committed to
supplying the same genuine AquaMatic products and services to OEMs and distributors that they have been accustomed to with Pentair.
AQ Matic will honor warranties on AquaMatic products sold by Pentair that are still in effect per the warranty terms. AQ Matic will handle all aspects of the AquaMatic product line including
service, engineering, and service/spare parts.
