Water Quality Association (WQA) Announces Launch of Redesigned Website
The Water Quality Association (WQA) is proud to announce the re-launch of its website, wqa.org. The newly revamped and redesigned site, which was WQA’s top strategic priority for 2014, features many enhanced tools and a vastly improved user experience.
WQA Communications Director Larry Deutsch announced the official launch at the Association’s annual Mid-Year Leadership Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia.
“We are absolutely thrilled to give the members of WQA a website they can be proud of, while taking a huge step forward in positioning our Association as an elite resource for consumers interested in improving the quality of their water,” says Deutsch.
Boasting a clean look and new feel, www.wqa.org was redesigned to feature two different user experiences, one aimed at consumers and the other geared toward WQA members. The consumer version of the site features search tools to connect consumers with WQA members, certified professionals and certified products. In addition to the search functionalities, consumers can also find helpful resources detailing common water contaminants and the technologies that are available to reduce contaminants. Additionally, the site now boasts a greatly expanded “About WQA” section as well as members-only studies, industry news and documents.
WQA will continue implementation of the next phase of projects, which will include functionality to allow water treatment professionals to join or renew their WQA membership; access to real-time information for learners on the status of their WQA professional certifications; and a searchable database of national and international regulatory information. WQA also plans to design an interactive tool to assist consumers in diagnosing and solving common water problems. |
