03-09-2020 WQA Convention Update

These are uncharted waters for us, and like you, we are doing our best to act in the best interests of all concerned. We know that many of you rely on the WQA Convention & Exposition as your singular most important event for our industry for the entire year. We are committed to offering the best quality education, the best trade show and the best overall experience that we can, despite these unfortunate circumstances.

What’s in a name?

If you were to describe a salt-free scale-control technology as a “salt-free softener”, the customer would be very disappointed when their laundry wasn’t as clean as expected, or an industrial process failed due to the presence of excess calcium ions. This wouldn’t be good for the client, or your professional reputation.

Mike Sennett joins WQA Staff

The Water Quality Association (WQA) has named veteran attorney Mike Sennett as its General Counsel. Sennett, who retired from the Chicago law firm of Jones Day at the end of 2019, was selected for the new position because of his background and experience with both WQA and the Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF).
