Shuttle and Transportation Services
The Pacific Palm Resort works with Super Shuttle. At a rate of $40-$50 for the first person and $9 for the 2nd person – See more at: you can pick up Super Shuttle outside of baggage claim at the LAX Airport and be driven to the Pacific Palm Resort. Annual Meeting
Each year Pacific Water Quality Association hosts an Annual Meeting during the convention. This year the meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 4:00 – 5:30pm at the Pacific Palms Resort. In addition to association business, a state of the Association both regionally and nationally will be presented by representatives from the PWQA and WQA.

WQA Presents
The New Water Treatment “Basics” – MEP Style: Designed for anyone new to water treatment and non-technical personnel interested in better understanding what water treatment is all about, this workshop will introduce working and drinking water contaminants and their effects, US EPA Primary and Secondary standards, Consumer Confidence Reports, and water analyses.
If you’ve been meaning to start on WQA’s Modular Education Program but just haven’t gotten around to it, this workshop is the perfect opportunity. Enroll in the MEP, register for the workshop, bring your laptop, and work through the learning activities with the rest of the group.
Pre-registration is required. All attendees should bring either a laptop computer (Apple or PC) or an iPad to work on as well as a water hardness test kit. Box lunch is included in the registration fee.

Banquet Dinner and Industry Awards
The 2016 Banquet Dinner and Industry Awards will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 starting at 6:30 pm. The evening’s agenda includes a great meal and presentation of several well deserved industry awards.
This event is a great opportunity to mingle in an enjoyable social setting. This event will have a non-hosted cash bar.
Silent Auction & Reception
We will be hosting a silent auction. All auction items will be on display in the foyer. The auction will conclude at the end of the trade show Thursday at 7:00 pm, please join us in the exhibit hall for a Reception. Enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and mingle at with your colleagues from the water improvement industry. At the end of the event, several lucky winners will go away with a great prize. This event will have a non-hosted cash bar.
