Established in 2019, the Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) drinking water program was designed to ensure Californians who lack safe and affordable drinking water receive it as quickly as possible and that the water systems serving them establish sustainable solutions. The SAFER drinking water program is helping water systems achieve this goal through a set of tools, funding sources, regulatory authorities, and community outreach and education.

Pentair will be permanently closing its manufacturing facility at 20580 Enterprise Ave., Brookfield, WI 53045
and distribution center at N25W23040 Paul Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072. The closure has been prompted by the
company’s decision to consolidate the manufacturing and distribution center to other Pentair sites
2022 California Plumbing Code, California Mechanical Code Now Available
The 2022 editions of the California Plumbing Code (CPC®) and California Mechanical Code (CMC®) have been formally released. Both the hardcopy and eBook versions, viewable on computers, tablets and smart phones, can be purchased and downloaded via the IAPMO web store.
June 2022 – EPA Interim PFAS Guidelines
The Environmental Protection Agency announced interim health advisories for four perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that are substantially lower than the advisory levels issued by the agency in 2016.(more…)
