In light of concerns about the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), we want to assure you that the WQA Convention & Exposition remains on schedule for April 1-3, 2020, in Orlando, FL. The WQA Convention is a vitally important event for the water treatment industry, and we are committed to holding the safest and most successful convention possible.
The WQA Business Boot Camp, planned for March 31 at the Convention Center, also is still on schedule.
WQA has been monitoring the best guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Florida Department of Health, and Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center. After careful consideration of all the available information, we believe moving ahead with the Convention is in the best interest of our exhibitors, members and the industry.
We understand that many of you face difficult decisions about whether to attend. To assist anyone who may feel it necessary to change plans, we are extending the registration cancellation deadline until Monday, March 16. (Details are on the
WQA convention website.)
We are closely monitoring the recommendations of the CDC and will comply with all guidelines in order to offer the safest possible environment for our attendees and exhibitors to convene. Travel restrictions already in place are preventing companies from China and other countries affected by COVID-19 from exhibiting at the show.
These are uncharted waters for us, and like you, we are doing our best to act in the best interests of all concerned. We know that many of you rely on the WQA Convention & Exposition as your singular most important event for our industry for the entire year. We are committed to offering the best quality education, the best trade show and the best overall experience that we can, despite these unfortunate circumstances.
