The 1500, 2510, 2750, 2850, 2900S, 5600, 56SXT, 6700XTR, 9000 and 9100 control valves use the 10913‐ XXX injector nozzle and 10914‐XXX injector throat on 1600 brine systems. When using the 1600 brine system there are maximum brine refill rates you can use based on injector size. See chart below for maximum refill rates per injector size:

The 5800, 7000, ProFloSXT valves all use the 1610 injector, which refills the brine tank with only treated water. The check ball below the 1610 injector prevents untreated water from entering through the throat for refill. The treated water is directed through the nozzle of the injector. Since refill is done only through the nozzle of the injector, it restricts the refill flow rate. This results in the maximum flow rate for the refill being based on the injector size. Using treated water instead of untreated water to refill the brine tank helps keep the brine tank and brine system clean, leading to improved performance. Please refer to the chart below for recommended sizes for the maximum B.L.F.C. for the injector size.
