Product Update: AquaMatic K521 Series Shaft Guide Seal
A change is being made to the shaft guide seal used in AquaMatic K521 Series valves. The current quad ring is being replaced by a standard O-ring. All three material type options (EPDM, Butyl, and Viton®) will be affected by this change.

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day April 26th 2014
DEA works with state and local law enforcement agencies to host National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. The purpose of this day is to provide a venue for people to safely dispose of unused prescription drugs, so they don’t put the drugs in the trash or flush them down the toilet (where they could eventually end up in our water).

Navy researchers at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Materials Science and Technology Division, demonstrate proof-of-concept of novel NRL technologies developed for the recovery of carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) from seawater and conversion to a liquid hydrocarbon fuel.
