To go or not to go…that is the question.

In today’s economy, the idea of leaving the office for a week to attend a conference/trade show is not taken lightly. Many trade show attendees these days are from various vendor companies hawking their wares and are paid to be there. For the independent dealer, attending a trade show not only costs them registration, transportation, and accommodation, but also presents a large opportunity cost of potential unearned revenue.

My first WQA show was in 1995 and I was underwhelmed, to say the least. What I saw was a bunch of people with too much time on their hands who spent more time carousing, than conferencing.

So why should an independent dealer even consider going to a tradeshow? Things certainly have changed since the old days! Today’s WQA conference is a streamlined, highly professional event that is focused on teaching dealers the skills that they need to remain competitive in today’s dynamic marketplace.

Education, Certification, and Networking are the three biggest reasons that a dealer should attend the WQA conference. Take advantage of the excellent lectures and training classes prepared by vendors, industry veterans and consultants who want to help you succeed.
I’m looking forward to an uplifting, educational and motivational show in March!
