AquaMatic® 429 Valve Body Boss Change
The AquaMatic Model 429 (V42L) 6” cast iron valve body (P/N 1074613) is being updated to ship with all four ¼” NPT bosses drilled and tapped by default at no additional charge. Currently only boss #1 was drilled and tapped by default. As of now, all four bosses will be drilled and tapped with ¼” NPT threads and plugged if not needed.

Because all four bosses are drilled and tapped by default, the additional fee for drilling and tapping bosses will no longer apply for the 429 valve. Bosses will no longer need to be specified in the configurator for this valve.

AquaMatic® 535 Lower Diaphragm Plate Change
A change has been made to the Lower Diaphragm Plate (P/N 1073386) used in AquaMatic K535 Series composite valves. The o-ring groove on the diaphragm side of the place has been removed and replaced with a small rib. This change has been made to improve the strength and durability of the valve. Please note that when replacing the upper diaphragm plate on existing valves with a new part, the o-ring that mated with the old diaphragm plate will be left over after the valve is reassembled. This additional o-ring is no longer required for proper operation of the valve.

Please contact your sales representative with further questions on either of these changes.

As always, thank you for using Pentair products.
