The Water Quality Association (WQA) has made some much-needed information technology upgrades in the last year, including a high quality consumer-focused website that will help promote the water treatment industry, and its professionals, to consumers.

We’ve moved our servers into the cloud, moved our membership and certification data to a new and more robust database, and invested in some extensive behind-the-scenes programing to ensure that our web search tools provide accurate, up-to-date information.

In order to make these upgrades, WQA had to disrupt the online availability of professional certification data – such as credit totals and transcripts – and temporarily deactivate the software that provided real-time quiz results. Therefore, we have decided to move back the recertification deadline by two months, from September 30 to November 30, 2014.

New certification ID cards will be issued after the credit totals needed for recertification have been achieved.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact us at certification@wqa.org.

Sincerely,

Tanya Lubner, PhD
